Even though you've explained the story behind the 'Melvin' and 'Anita' thing, as the baby in the family it is still strange for my parents to do this. Oh well. My opninion doesn't matter. I will have to make this a topic of one of my upcoming blogs.Pastor Kraig L. Things bought in stores are ok but,as Tony R said, "memories are priceless." As a father, the most precious gifts that I have received or could ever receive from my children is the gift of their time, fellowship and yes, those precious memories and moments that cannot be found on any shelf. And being with momma at age 80?, or at any age for that matter? Man, that is PRICELESS!!!!Pastor W.L. GOD allowed me to enter this world through this woman I must honor her every opportunity I get, this way one of us will be left with a chest full of memories.

As always great post!

GOD Bless~~~
SonHALLELUJAHhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12595461203689238526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8718204247980788143.post-73897313187161266702009-04-03T15:06:00.000-05:002009-04-03T15:06:00.000-05:00Point blank - attending mother's80th Birthday is n...Point blank - attending mother's
80th Birthday is not this guy's priority. To be honest, $350 a ticket is a lot of money for some people. But even then, that extra little comment was unecessary and pointless, even if not in the mother's presence. I basically agree with what has been said up to his point.

Though I am not much of a birthday party guy, I think that it is important to be at your mother's
80th birthday celebration.Pastor Kraig L. I feel that this son ought to talk to me or somebody else who has lost a mom and then decide where that money would be best spent.

I am certain that his momma at that age, just wants to be able to look at her babies any chance that she gets.

LancePastor Lance A. This guy sounds a lot like me and the way I used to think but I am learning that some things are much more important than the $$$$$$$$. I would unhesitantingly spend the $$$$$$$ to come and see mom. You just never know when the last time will be. Those kind of memories are priceless.

Great post.

Tony R.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
